THE BICENTENNIAL HISTORY OF DANVILLE. Written in 1991 by the Danville Bicentennial Committee and edited by Robert Bomboy. This book describes of the history of the town of Danville, the creation of Montour County, and the industries and people who brought our town to what it became in 1992, Danville’s bicentennial. $20

DANVILLE PAST AND PRESENT, A COLLECTION OF HISTORICAL AND BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES – D.H.B. BROWER Written in 1881, this 2003 reproduction is made possible by the MCHS. Included in this reproduction is a surname index to help in Montour Co research. $20

MONTOUR COUNTY AND THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, written by Danville native and military historian, Randy Hackenburg is a must for all those interested in the American Revolution. Mr. Hackenburg follows the Danville soldiers with company rosters, individual biographical sketches, and vivid photographs. $25
